Sandhya catches a man snooping around in the Principal’s office. She learns that the stranger is Malati’s son, Shekhar. When Malati refuses to sell the property, Shekhar threatens to throw the students out and convert the college into a shopping mall. The ceiling fan in Sooraj’s room breaks and falls on the bed.
