The villagers confront Ramdhari for hiding that his wife and daughter are alive. Prithvi defends Ramdhari, and accuses Meera of conspiring against him. Ramdhari reveals to the villagers that he knew that his wife and daughter are alive. He apologises to Meera and accepts her as his daughter. Meera asks Ramdhari to meet Sudha once. Ramdhari resigns from the post of sarpanch. The villagers do not allow Ramdhari to leave the village until he reveals the reason behind Sudha’s departure.
